1. Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

Once returned goods are received and inspected, refunds are normally processed within 14 days, in line with consumer legislation.

 

2. Goods Damaged in Transit

We take every care to ensure safe delivery. However, damage can occasionally occur.

If your order arrives damaged:

  1. Notify the delivery driver immediately and note the damage on the delivery docket where possible
  2. Email info@allstarecofuels.ie within 3 days of delivery with photos of the damage and your order number
  3. Please keep the goods and packaging in the condition received

We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
This does not affect your statutory rights.

4. Your Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

In line with the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us by email within the 14-day period.

Conditions for returns:

  • Goods must not have been used or burned
  • You may handle goods only to the extent necessary to inspect them, as you would in a shop
  • Handling beyond this may result in a reduction in the refund to reflect any loss in value
  • Please notify us before returning any goods

Return Shipping Costs

  • The cost of returning goods is the responsibility of the customer, unless the goods are faulty or incorrect
  • A refund for the value of the goods will be issued once they are received and inspected

Standard delivery charges will be refunded where required by law.

 

5. Items That Cannot Be Returned

For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on fuel products that:

  • Have been burned or partially used
  • Are damaged due to handling beyond inspection
  • Are missing substantial parts of the original packaging

This does not affect your statutory rights.

 

6. When We Cannot Accept a Return

We may refuse a return where:

  • Goods have been used, burned or consumed
  • Damage has occurred after delivery due to misuse or improper storage
  • The condition of the goods goes beyond reasonable inspection

Any refusal will be assessed in line with consumer law.

7. Policy Compliance

This policy complies with:

  • EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU
  • European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under Irish law.
